Acorn....

....amazing that this tiny little acorn can turn into a mighty oak!! 
I recently was told that the "Big Tree" is one of the most famous live oaks in the world. In fact it was named the State Champion live oak in 1963 & kept that title until 2003 when an even larger live oak was found. Where are these 2 giant oaks both located??    Where else--Texas--where EVERYTHING is bigger!!   (I was personally given this information by my really nice, extremely well informed, native Texan "Uber" driver while we were in Houston.)  I also found this acorn there & brought it home with me, thinking it would make a pretty blip. Maybe I'll plant it & one day WISCONSIN will have the biggest oak around! Ha!        :))
