The Hanging Gardens of..
Tain.
Took Dora, our cat, to the vets today. This involves a 160 mile round journey to Tain. It is definitely a skin problem that is making her itch. A long and thorough investigation also revealed a wound on her paw that we hadn't noticed. She's had a long lasting antibiotic injection, and been prescribed a course of steroid tablets and cream to stop the itching. We've also got a course of worming/tick/flea for all three animals, and a spray to de-flea the house. We're convinced it's not fleas though, as G would react badly to them as well. We've never seen on on any of the animals.. I'm not going to tell you how much that lot cost!
Did some shopping in Tain too. Their floral display in the hanging baskets is quite stunning. This pic is of the high street.. I was going to stand on that wall to get a view at basket height, but when I looked over the wall, the drop was a good 30-40 feet. I didn't think that it would improve the shot that much!!
The extra shot is of an old bridge near the sea front that has been taken down for repair work, and is now in the stage of being re-built. The bridge is at the mouth of the river Tain, between the sea and the golf course. Plenty of onlookers watching the workmen, including someone who sneaked into the picture again!!..
