Mono Pinecone

I picked up this pinecone on my walk back from what turned out to be a wasted trip to the mailbox. It must have been one of those afternoons! I rushed out to walk to the mailbox, my dog with me because I needed a poop sample from her. It turns out the last mail pickup was 1 pm. I rushed home and left in my minivan for what I thought was a close post office - it was about 15 minutes drive away! I got there right before it closed at 5 pm. Things were plain sailing from that point on, as I got to the vet's in plenty of time. The test was negative and the paperwork I need to get Maggie and I tested as a therapy dog team is now ready.
