Au Revoir

Today we said farewell to Ruffec and to France and made our journey back to the UK.  There was a hint of autumn in the air as we drove through the countryside to the airport; the farmers in the local fields were just beginning their harvest of maize.   It seemed a long journey home and once there rather chilly at 12 degrees and the evenings short with it being dark by 7:20pm.
