Well, hello!

Not a good picture, but worth recording because this is the first Goldfinch to visit our bird feeders for months!! I think this is a female -  the brightly coloured male flew in and out without feeding. As they used to come months ago, I kept the niger seed out, just hoping they would return.
Let's hope they come back more often now!
