Happy Birthday Grandpa!

It's my Dad's birthday today and as he lives in Tenerife, C, R & I recorded a video message for him this morning before school. We all sang Happy Birthday to him resulting in a funny warm hug in a video for Dad. Apparently he was very pleased with it! (mum sent me the b'day boy photo from dinner out tonight).

R and I headed to Little Quavers music group after school drop off, R's first official group on her own with Mummy. She had a lovely time taking everything in, shaking the instruments, sucking the ribbons of the rainbow shaker and intently watching Amelia who had come with Mummy Julie.

Think it tired her out as she slept from lunchtime for 2 hours, right through the curriculum meeting at C's school so that was handy!

C scooted home through the puddles and we had a relaxed afternoon watching cbeebies and recovering. He was v pleased with his choice of new reading book from school - Disney Cars!
