I can see why it's called ......

Green Pond!

On our way to Jacobsburg State Park this afternoon we stopped by Green Pond to see if the turtles were out.  As you can see, they were. 

That is until we kept driving by!  Right after this shot the turtle slid back into the pond.  Not sure why this body of water is called a pond as it's more like a small lake. 

I still have some catching up to do, but for now I hope you enjoy this turtle.
