2015 Sunday -- Classic Car

We saw this Hudson Hornet parked at a motel in San Simeon.

Late this afternoon we drove north approximately 14 miles from Cayucos to San Simeon. We were mostly trying to get out of the heat and the beautiful cove there seemed like a lovely spot to cool down.

It was a very warm walk on the sand until we reached the north part of the cove which was drenched in the late afternoon shade and the "coolness" there was delightful. Soon it was after 5:00 and we decided to journey south to our place to watch the sunset in the sawdust of our remodel.

This has truly been a few days of sawdust and sand. It's not been the most relaxing weekend, but we have accomplished a lot. Tomorrow we'll meet with our cabinet guy and then it will be time to get to the highway and head for southern California.
