Peony

I adore peonies, the ball dress of the floral world. Just looking at this makes me smile.

A day of highs and lows today. H's first day living here so a bit of an indulgent 'what would you like to eat darling? You can have whatever you want' combined with Ma spending the entire day constantly removing her clothes for no apparent reason and spending quite a considerable amount of it in just her vest and pants.

Corduroy is clearly delighted to have a personal Amusement Monitor and they have been joined at the hip from the moment she arrived. He is currently doing everything he can think of to get at her corned beef hash (requested).

The sky is very sullen just now and it has just started raining, however I am fairly sure that my hopes of a cracking storm will be dashed as usual. We never seem to have decent thunderstorms any more.
