Gastropoda

Bit of a damp day today and though it's not to everybody's taste there are some that love these wet conditions. This little snail was resolutely making its way across the hospital path, probably hoping that it wouldn't get trodden on and squished into snail soup.

I'm certainly glad the relays were yesterday and not today. Although I don't mind running in the rain, I'm not a fan of waiting around in it. Apparently I didn't quite break 13 minutes...by 0.3 seconds. Damn accurate chip timing!
