"Phew! What a Scorcher!"

It's 97 outside at the moment but feels like 103 so the last place you really want to be is outside taking photos, as the heat sucks every last ounce of energy out of you.

Luckily I didn't have to venture far outside before I saw this poor creature having a rest on the front path.

I think it's a dragonfly and it looks about as clapped out as the path does!
