In the Red

I decided to splurge and treat myself to the new Nikon 200-500 lens that came out last week (I pre-ordered it 5 weeks ago).  It arrived today and of course there weren't any colorful birds around to give it a test run.  So I settled for taking a shot of this Sparrow which conveniently decided to stop in a spot that was inline with my neighbors red truck. 

The lens seems heavier than my Tamron but focuses much faster and the  few images I got today were spot on sharp.  Will hopefully get a chance to get a shot of something more exciting over the next couple of days.
