Smug zone

My first football love is Carlisle United.
I've been so fan for approaching 40 years.

Tonight they have played Liverpool in the League Cup at Anfield.

Although they didn't win, the game went to extra time and penalties with Liverpool winning 3-2 on penalties.

Given the difference in league positions and the gulf in budgets I'm proud of Carlisle tonight.

So tomorrow I shall be in the "smug zone"
