Mt Rainier

We took a spontaneous round trip to the mountain and so rewarded with warm sun and gorgeous presence.  My Mom bred a deep love for the "only mountain in the world" in me and my siblings and I am the lucky one to live only 3 hours away.  

Extra - demonstration of all the missing snow - all the glacier areas usually covered by snow are just not - so it is very different and sobering, but still beautiful.  This was not a glacier but so often snow filled all summer and into fall until the next year's storms.
