Time to Reflect

Another shortish day and one we decided not to take the high level option. So after the flog up to Greenup edge we sorted out which valley to take and strolled down Far Easedale Gill to Grasmere. On Greenup Edge there were two guys with a very dodgy map, no compass and a tiny paperback brochure giving route notes. They were really not sure where to go but the gps and our 25k OS map meant we could point them in the right direction.
On the way down to Grasmere met a guy I used to work with about 7 years ago coming the other way, he was walking the western half of the C>C from east to west, small world.
