I could be handy mending.a fuse

Up until a couple of years ago I had fabulous eyesight. Now, unfortunately I can't seem to read the cooking instructions on the back of a packet without the aid of my glasses. And while we're at it.. WHY do restaurants with low lighting insist on having menus with muted colours and tiny writing??? Is it me or am I starting to sound like a "grumpy old woman"? It's not nice when someone looks at your phone and laughs at the size of your text! The next thing you know I'll be moaning about the price of a loaf of bread and the row that kids are listening to (hang on a minute... I already do that!).
Looks like time is starting to catch up with me and I should go out and buy myself a pair of long purple gloves and a stick!
