Government Issue

Ecuador provides colada (a wheat and powered milk warm beverage) mix to each kid in the public schools. Mother's take turns cooking the drink up to serve for their child's class each morning. The colada comes accompanied by cookies that are packed with micronutrients. With this little boost from the government we hope that all kids will be nourished to start the school day sharp - even if they didn't get breakfast at home.
