River Itchen from near the Northam Bridge

Continuing with my River Itchen/Bridge theme this is a view of the river from close to the Northam Bridge. The bridge connects Bitterne (which was the original Roman settlement in Southampton) to the scruffy Southampton suburb of Northam. 

The bridge itself is quite unremarkable (as shown in the extra blip) but is one of the busiest commuter routes into Southampton from the east.
