Legless...

Not really surprised to find yesterday's calf hadn't survived to this morning. There was a heifer with a set of twins next door,so one of them is now twinned on to the cow. Phoned the vet to let him know that he had missed the rugby for nothing !
Went away for the last load of bales at Bonnyrigg,then after lunch,got some of my willing staff to help me lift the piano in the lounge and fit the legs back on. It has been sitting legless for about 5 years now,getting dragged from room to room as plumbers, joiners,builders and painters have all needed into the lounge.
Mrs F said it was to look like a piano by Saturday as she is having her pals round. The easiest option would have been the chain saw !
So much for the weather forecasters harking on about good weather coming. We had 2 torrential downpours today,so harvest is postponed again. Bugger.
