Crocuses....

....although some sites say that the word "croci" is also correct to use as a plural of crocus. Not for me, though, as when I hear "croci" I picture a pool full of hungry, teeming crocodiles!!  These crocuses always bloom once in the spring, & once in early fall---a lovely way to both usher in the springtime & to bid farewell to the summer!  :))
