Jewels in the sky

On my way home tonight , in a hurray to cook for a supper party for 9 , I was searching for a blip for the day. I made poor Hannah come to a screeching halt on the coastal road when I spotted these wind surfing kites shining in the evening sun. They looked ( as Nigel commented) like jewels in the sky.
Supper party for the family went well too :) spicy turkish lamb casserole followed by pear crumble and cream
