Not Quite a Kingfisher

I found myself passing the river where I saw the kingfisher last Saturday and decided to stop for a while to see if it returned. I did see it a few times in bushes on the other side of the river and even though I was willing it to come and sit on a branch right in front of me, it refused and eventually perched on a riverside branch over there but it was unfortunately beyond the reach of my lens for a good shot :-(
Not to worry, a little bit further along this beautiful horse suddenly popped up over the hill and stood staring at me majestically........job done :-))
