When I was a boy
When I was a boy there were no digital cameras. It was film all the way. Over the last few weeks my mother has been sorting through all the albums and bags of photos that my father took when I was a little'un. Today seemed like a good day to start sorting through them ready for scanning and preserving.
It's a strangely moving experience, looking back to my kidhood, bringing back memories I didn't even know I had, but then I guess that's what the essence of photography is.
The soundtrack of my day has been this song. It's big news for quite a few people. The perfect fit for today.
