The Longest day

John and Maggie are over from Haugh of Urr visiting us until Monday.
This evening we went to visit their twin great grandsons in SCBU .
It was an emotional meeting for them and Maggie was quite overwhelmed so I began to feel emotional watching her face as she looked at the tiny boys. She used to work as a midwife many moons ago and in her day they would have been pretty lucky to have got this far.
The nurses let them sleep in the same cot and they do seem to snuggle up to one another !
Wet wet wet today, forecast for more which is not boding well for our family party on the moors above Saltburn on Saturday.
