Peace...revisited

This day concludes my four day guest speaking gig back at McMinnville High. Each day as I headed to Matt's AP class, I passed through the courtyard, and I looked up to my old room. Today, on my way out, I took a visit to the room, now inhabited by my friend Kerrie, and she has kept intact, with some embellishments, the peace sign that kids adorned my windows with back in...2011?? I don't know, it's been awhile. 

It has been a good week. I've reconnected with many of my colleagues and friends, and tried to connect with students I'll never really know. 

Hard to put it all into words now, just this simple week. Much more than just talking to four classes.
