Arthur's Seat autumn sunrise

It's that time of year when we get some wonderful sunrises in Edinburgh. I captured this one on the Meadows today on my walk to work.

It was another busy day: two project tutorials, four hours of classroom teaching, then off to the airport to fly to Bristol then catch the train to Swindon where I have a meeting tomorrow. Along the way I had two pieces of good news: (1) my co-authors like the final draft of the paper that I completed yesterday, and (2) a colleague for whom I recently wrote a reference got the job :-)

Exercise today: walk to work and airport walking (14,128 steps).
