Woodland web

The low sun this afternoon picked out all the spiders' webs at the nature reserve and made the dark parts of the wood seem even darker. In these areas some wonderful fungi are pushing up through the leaf litter and taking advantage of a brief period when, small as they are, they cast their own shadows.
