Charcol burner

Sunny day again, a walk along the brook in the park this morning. The Little Egret was feeding the water until the dog decided that she needed a swim, so off went the egret, no photo of that then. This russula was pushing up the soil and grass. I have probably identified it correctly, but russula's can be difficult without resorting to a microscope. No time for that today as I am painting the front porch.
