a sad, sad day as we heard that our pal neil passed away this afternoon. we all saw neil on saturday at the lorelei gig and he was his normal bubbly self, excited to see everyone and the band. we're all so shocked and very sad...he was a gentle, friendly, generous man, very knowledgable about music and passionate about independence and social justice. he provided the soundtrack to our westcoast holiday this year by buying beth the shee cd at bella, and I think of neil every time I hear it.
