Claremont Landscape Garden

It was such a beautiful day today that I left the ironing and my other intended chores and went to Claremont Landscape Garden for a quick walk around the lake. The reflections were lovely this morning and I did not even mind the curious black swan who rippled the water. As it is a National Trust property dogs are only allowed there on a lead in the winter months, but I had already taken Murdoch for a walk so he did not look too upset when I left the house with my camera.

Poor Gavin is pretty miserable to be so far from home and without his family on his birthday. He has to be in Singapore on Monday so it was too far to come back from Sydney for the weekend. He has gone to the Blue Mountains for the night but apparently it is very cold, 9C and tipping down with rain. I hope it clears up so that he can do some walking, but it has been bad weather there all week.
