Grapes
I visited our daughter this morning for coffee and a catch-up. Although we speak on the telephone at least once a day, we had not seen each other for over two weeks.
The rest of the day I have spent sorting out files and looking at various things on the OU website in readiness for the start of the new module. Although I have the module books, these have not changed from last year, I do not yet have the Assessment or Marking Guides or various other bits and pieces relevant to this year. As I know the module inside-out I am not having any problems.
The weather had been fine today with some bright sunshine; it has also been quite warm.
Last year our fifty-year old, very productive grape vine was destroyed and so we planted two new ones. Today’s picture shows one of the two bunches of grapes that this vine has produced; the deer have eaten the other bunch! These are much too tiny to eat, but then the vine is less than a year old; this picture will make a good comparison with what might be produced next year.
