Some mothers do 'ave 'em

Son1 has been saving up for a new computer and the money he got for his birthday earlier this week  finally took him to the sum he needed. The thing is, he's building it himself...he assures me he's learned enough in his Computer Science lessons to be able to do this. So for the last couple of days we've had a succession of boxes arriving at home containing all the various parts including the one pictured which I gather is the motherboard. Son1 is assembling it all as I type and, all being well, it will be up and running before the day is out...
