Spectacle

On my way to a Thai meal in celebration of my birthday tomorrow (where have 31 years gone?) I went to get my glasses repaired, by a major retailer, formerly just a chemist. The receptionist said it would take 20 minutes. I waited. It took 18 and there was no charge.
