Spiked Sunrise

Builders planted these Mediterranean looking giant spikey things outside our house. Thinking was I suppose that they'd withstand the salt laden North Easterlies straight from the sea.
Mine died cos of the crap rainwater drainage system from the rooves. This is the neighbour's. Only time I like them is as silhouettes. This was at sun up this morning. In the day they look like wizened up ... wizened things :-)
