Lace

I found this bit of tracery at the edge of the demolition/building site that I keep going back to. I think some of the workers are beginning to recognise me, not all happily.That's tough because there are about a million more photos waiting for me there.
 
Today I had an interesting perspective on my blip subject from yesterday. I went to a lecture about Magna Carta in which the speaker said that under King John it became very important to put agreements in writing because he kept breaking them. So Magna Carta was written and sealed with King John’s seal. And he then had to make an oath that he would respect it! Right on the cusp of the spoken word as bond and the written word as proof.
