The wise old Crow

This old fellow had made quite an effort to scare off a pair of Magpies from what ever it was anticipating flying off with?
 But it must have been worth the effort as it soon flew off with it! 
And what was it you might ask?

                                        An Apple! 
Didn't know Crows and Magpies ate Apples!
