Yellow Roses for Flower Friday

It's been a busy day. Earlier than normal Friday start as we went to SweetArt's old church which is in Jebel Ali. A different service to the one that we have at EBCI and it was good to catch up with one or two people we know from the past as well as visit the Book Shop there.

Went to visit my Dad's grave straight after as it is out that way. Friday is almost the only day you can do something like this as during the week, traffic is horrendous. We then had cocktails and nibbles lunch at Vivaldi which was VERY NICE!

I actually managed to get a much needed nap despite having a house full of guests!! It helped cope with dinner and the evening and getting people to the airport! SweetArt got dropped off at 9:30 and J&M weren't too far behind. My blip is of the flower arrangement at the entrance of the Sheraton Hotel. A yellow theme this week, and they had roses, orchids and calla lillies - both significantly harder to photograph than roses.

 I have much catching up to do of many things tomorrow before a full week at work.
