Process Management...

I thought of a new management technique today. It's called, "Leave them alone to get on with it."

I had an unsullied day of raw programming today as the person normally directing my recent project was off on his paternity leave. I managed to batter through a page of calculations that was scripted for 4 days, in about a day and a half.

The paternitier it's actually very good and the spec he left me was, was a huge help but just sitting and managing to get through without any meetings or interruptions was a tremendous help.
