RIPPLES

I needed a walk to clear my head after wasting most of the afternoon trying  in vain to find a way of doing something in Photoshop that I'm sure must be possible, but can't find a tutorial on it. I expect it'll come to me after a night's sleep or when I'm in the shower, which is when I do most of my problem solving (that's my (true) explanation to B of why I take so long in there). The square building on the horizon is the nuclear power station.

Meanwhile the extra pic shows what was going on behind me when I took this photo. I phoned the fire brigade, but they hadn't arrived yet by the time I went home, and the fire had mostly burned itself out by then.
