August Moonset

There was a rare bit of clear sky in the west this morning. It lasted only briefly, but I saw the moon setting. Since it was still dark the contrast was too extreme to capture the scene in a single shot. This is a blend of two shots taken seconds apart, with only the shutter speed changed. That’s part of Mount Hutt on the right.
