The Waverley

Sis and Bro.in Law came over for the day via the Lymington Ferry  and we had a lovely relaxing time around the pretty harbour village of Yarmouth.

On returning to catch the evening ferry we were just in time to see the paddle steamer Waverley which was leaving the pier head where it had off loaded some day-trip passengers. 

To complete the vintage scene a flying boat passed overhead,sadly It was too far away to grab a pic. with my compact camera.
