Portsmouth
After a reasonable crossing over the Bay of Biscay, we arrive back in Portsmouth. The Spinnaker tower of Portsmouth looks fantastic although the clouds look ominous. In the back ground you can just see HMS Warrior, Britain's first iron hulled warship launched in 1860 and the pride of Queen Victorias navy for a short while.
A little fact: there are several historic ships moored in Portsmouth, to maintain them they are still on the books of the Royal Navy.
I had wanted to take a photo of HMS Victory but we did not get close enough and it remained surrounded by other ships.
