On ya bike!

Finally, after years of recommending it, Esme has been convinced to buy a bike. She experienced the first bike ride in her life about a month ago in Bali, and it determined to make it happen in Melbourne. I think it'll change her life (just like it did mine, then Gina's a few years later) - there's no better way to get around! Here's Esme with her new purchase (she walked it home...).

I spent ages mowing the front lawn and the nature strip today - I really shouldn't let it get that long, cause it takes so much longer every time!

In other news, Miles has been really not very well today, and was quiet and withdrawn, with a temperature and wheezing. He perked up a bit before bed, so hopefully a night's sleep will see him right.

Zelda also went to the vet (it was one of those days...), and will have to go back in for some surgery on a broken tooth. So be it, hopefully it'll be of some relief to her.
