Autumn scene

As C had won an hour's fitness training session in Cwmbran I arrived at her house in Ponthir at 8.30 to look after I and G.  Soon after she left I took the children to a park nearby and we walked Sebastian for a while.  On arriving home I and G went upstairs and I went into the living room. Literally 2 minutes later I heard an almighty crash and bang and went into the hall to investigate.   I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw G's desk stool on the floor in the hall and a large pane of glass in the front door was cracked in several places with shards of it on the floor.  G assured me it had been an accident, he had tried to take the stool into his sister's room and dropped it down the stairs. Oh dear!  Luckily I was able to arrange for a glass firm to board up the door, even though it was Saturday, until the glass could be replaced next week. C took the news quite well, I thought when she returned home.

My blip is of a local scene in Abersychan, the extra being of the colourful leaves on trees close by.
