A Walk Around Labin

Today is our last full day here. After a lay in, we drove to the local Filling Station and topped the car up with diesel ready to hand it back early tomorrow at Pula airport. We've done a lot of running about, including a drive to Italy and back. To re-fill was 300 kuna (about £30).

We parked the car in Labin town and had a walk around the place for a couple of hours, soaking up the sunshine and beauty of the place. I took the blip photo in a side street, one of many I took and like. This one shows the town clock and how lovely the old streets are. The extra shows Labin from just outside, and in the foreground are grapevines.

After we stopped in the town square for a large white wine and large beer which set us back £2.70! We returned to the same place late afternoon where we treated the party to a last meal out. The week has gone so quick.

Croatia is a stunning country. We will be back next year for more of the same. A 2 hour flight. Why go anywhere else with beauty and prices like we have enjoyed?
