Fan and Cable Baby Dress

So I said I will finish my projects off before starting another one.... I tried but I couldn't resist this Shetland Mist yarn and I was itching to try this vintage pattern that I have been asked to make but also to see if I can readjust to suit different sizes.

Bit of an experiment to see how large this makes up. I’m using a much smaller hook than dk usually allows for but I’m able to hook the yarn quite comfortably. The original pattern is for a 2mm and a 4 ply.  I made 75 chains instead of the 85 called for meaning I have ended up with 154 at the end of the yoke (it wasn't adding up when I started with 85 and was supposed to have 170 stitches by the fan and cable foundation row).

This yarn is beautiful! It’s 80% acrylic, 20% wool and a 100g ball is 300 metres and its super soft.  I could cuddle it for most of the day.
