What's cooking ?

My father did virtually all the cooking when I was growing up owing to the indisputable fact that my mother was terrible at it.

So my two brothers and I learnt early on that a man's place was often in the kitchen and I have always greatly enjoyed making things , particularly in this kitchen at Feorlean.

The last meal Cathleen and I managed to have together was last Saturday evening so tonight I thought I would do something a wee bit special - duck breasts with a rhubarb sauce on a potato rosti with lemon scented vegetables.
