Still waters
Went to Aberfoyle this morning to run the Trossachs 10k. A brief warm-up beforehand and noticed the bit of lingering cloud and good reflections.
Before starting I met with fellow-blipper nell2803 and we had a brief chat and she took a photo of me as we were starting out (just before going over the river). Great to meet a blipper, and what a great place to live in. The picture is good too (follow the link), sorry I didn't manage to reciprocate.
Great course, wonderful reflections in the lochan (better than these) and a nice mix of scenery. Just over the hour, which ai was happy with on the course.
Then drove over to Loch Achray and had lunch before climbing Ben A'an. It's less than 3 miles there and back and not very big but it's very steep and the first half was very muddy. Good views from the top, though very misty.
Tea and scone at Brig o'Turk tearoom and then home.
