Good Bake

I'd tried several places to buy kirsch and couldn't find any but Mr J found me some today. I put a drop in a glass and jokingly told B to try a sip, he decides to down it in one. He did see the funny side afterwards, once he's stopped coughing that is. We've eaten half of it already, it's a good bake said the lad, could I miss off the cherries and cream and cover it in butter cream next time though, there's just no winning is there?!
