In the paddock

The scenery in our little town has changed totally for this weekend, as the third "Memorial Hill Climb Race" takes place today and tomorrow. Around 250 drivers have registered for the 60th anniversary, in memory of the first race in 1955. After a second race in 1962 it fell in a deep sleep until 2007.

The race track is 2.8 km long, going 125 meters up and cars/bikes participating have to be at least 30 years old. I didn't have much time for the race today - so just a quick snapshot from behind the supermarket, where the first drivers were getting ready. May be tomorrow I'll go (with my camera) and spend some time at the race.
